When Glen Dixon was asked to be co-chairman for the melt shop employee safety committee in Midlothian, Texas, he didn't realize he'd be running it one day. But that's what happened when his co-chairman stepped down, and he was asked to step up.
Dixon leads monthly safety meetings across the melt shop. And he does it, not as part of his job description, but on a voluntary basis to keep his colleagues safe.
