Every year, more than 200,000 liters of oil are disposed of incorrectly in the environment, clogging up sewers and causing environmental problems. With this in mind, in partnership with BChem, the Gerdau Bioenergia Social program will distribute free collectors to schools and establishments in several cities of Minas Gerais, with the aim of making these sites collection points for oil. Subsequently, this material will be transformed into biodiesel, in an innovative way, not generating waste - that is, for each liter of used oil will be generated one liter of fuel. Innovation with social and environmental impact: this is transforming the world.
