For the week ending October 31, total raw steel production was 1.747 million net tons, with a capacity utilization rate of 76.3%.
Year-to-date output reached 74.183 million net tons, averaging 76.7% capacity utilization. In comparison, during the same period in 2024, output totaled 73.629 million net tons at an average utilization rate of 77.1%.
Capacity utilization and production both strengthened in early 2023, continuing the upward trend that began after late-2022 lows.
