U.S. Steel Rebar Final Imports:

Final Rebar Imports to the U.S. came in at 67,071 tons for the month of July 2025, down 51.8% m/m. Rebar imports include: concrete reinforcing bars and rods of iron or non-alloy steel, irregularly wound coils hot-rolled, concrete reinforcing bars and rods of other alloy steel, not further worked than hot-rolled, hot-drawn or extruded, and other bars and rods of iron or non-alloy steel, hot-worked, concrete reinforcing bars and rods.

Figure 2 charts the largest exporting countries to the U.S. in rank order through July.

  1. Egypt was the largest exporter of rebar with 17,701 tons (26%).
  2. Ukraine was the second-largest exporter with 16,806 tons.
  3. Turkey was the third-largest rebar exporter with 10,689 tons.

Together, these three exporters accounted for 67% of the total.

Figure 3 also charts the largest imports by district of entry to the U.S. in rank order.

  1. Philadelphia, PA was the largest receiver coming in at 25,197 tons.

  3. San Juan, PR was the third-largest receiving port with 12,099 tons.
